Microsoft names Australia Partner of the YearAustralian IT service management company Rhipe has been named Microsoft’s Australia Partner of the Year for 2018 at Microsoft’s Inspire Awards.

Rhipe and its ecosystem of 1700 Microsoft partners have developed solutions based on Microsoft Azure such as its PRISM cloud billing and provisioning portal, Microsoft Australia One Commercial Partner Lead Mark Leigh said in a blog post announcing the winners.

A number of other Australian companies were recognised in the global awards. Velrada secured the Dynamics 365 for Field Service Award for its commercial service delivery facilities management solutions.

The 2018 Financial Services Award went to Vector Risk for its compliance management solutions for financial services, which uses Microsoft Azure, HPC Pack and SQL Server.

Advvy was awarded the Media and Communications Award for its Dynamics 365-based media campaign planning management solution, while Adopt & Embrace picked up the Teamwork Award for driving broad adoption of Office 365 by aligning it to C-suite business priorities.

Australian companies were also finalists for two additional awards — Datacom in the App Innovation Award category for its work developing a customer service app for the electricity industry and Sensei Project Solutions in the Project and Portfolio Management category.

“It’s always a particular delight to be able to acknowledge our standout partners each year and to demonstrate how they have gone above and beyond to ensure the success of our customers,” Leigh said.

“For this year’s Microsoft Inspire Awards we had over 2600 submissions from 115 countries and the calibre of the submissions was extraordinary.”
